Virtual Panel Discussion on "Diplomacy in Crisis"

On May 2, 2023 at 4 pm EDT, the Academy held a virtual panel discussion on “Diplomacy in Crisis” as part of our spring 2023 intern, Toby Szustak’s intern project. The panel, moderated by Ambassador Ronald Neumann, featured Ambassadors James Jeffrey, John F. Tefft, and Susan Page. The panelists discussed how diplomats navigate hostile governments, public opinion, and orders from Washington.
