Virtual Panel Discussion on “Personal Identity in Diplomacy”

On January 17th, 2023 at 4 pm EST, the Academy held a virtual panel discussion on “Personal Identity in Diplomacy,” as part of our fall 2022 intern, Kennedy Carmichael’s intern project. The panel, moderated by Ambassador Tibor Nagy, featured Ambassadors Deborah Jones, Charles Ray, Marcelle Wahba, and Ted Osius and they discussed the impact of personal identity in diplomacy and the personal challenges and potential work difficulties associated with cultural differences.
