Alexander F.

Alexander F. Watson is a Managing Director at the Hills & Company. Ambassador Watson served as U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for Western Hemisphere Affairs, Deputy Representative to the United Nations, and Ambassador to Peru, as well as charge d’affaires in Brazil, Colombia, and Bolivia. He held other diplomatic assignments in Latin America and Europe, as well as serving as Director for Development Finance and handling relations with the U.S. Congress on international economic issues for the U.S. Department of State. After retiring from the State Department, he was in charge of the international program of The Nature Conservancy. He serves on a number of not-for-profit boards, including as President of the Pan-American Development Foundation. He holds degrees from Harvard College and the University of Wisconsin.
